Cornish Seaside Cottages is a small family business run by Diana Harris and her husband Andrew.  We started coming back to Cornwall in the 1990s when our eldest daughter was small and fell in love with the beaches and spectacular scenery of the North Cornish coast and the harbour town of Padstow.

When the opportunity arose to buy Poppies in 2002 - then little more than a cowshed in the midst of conversion - we leapt at it.  Sorrel Cottage followed soon after and in 2010 we added West Creek Cottage in nearby Little Petherick to our portfolio.

We now have both traditional and modern properties - although the modern were once old farm buildings - and can accommodate guests ranging from couples to groups of up to 10 (if you book Poppies and Sorrel Cottage together).

POPPIES
"This cottage offers everything we could wish for, home from home. We have been coming to Cornwall for 19 years and still do not tire of the surroundings. This year we got the sun yeah!  Even on bad days you can just kick back and relax in the comfort of the cottage or take a walk to one of the fab beaches... We have been so pleased with our stay at Poppies that we have booked for next year.  We were so happy with the location that we recommended it to two of our friends and they managed to book other cottages on site. SORREL COTTAGE
"We had a fabulous holiday, the weather couldn't have been better, seven days of bright sunshine, even got a tan!  Sorrel Cottage is a fantastic place and we loved it there, it is in an ideal location, we took out bikes and cycled into Padstow most days and went along lots of the coastal paths to many of the beautiful bays. Also went to Polzeath, Port Isaac and did the Camel Trail to Bodmin and back!

WEST CREEK COTTAGE
"We stayed here for a few days in June and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage was clean and tidy and very quaint and close to everything we needed. The weather was very hot and we spent most of the days relaxing on one of Padstow's several bays . For me all I wanted was relaxation from this holiday as we are due to have our first baby next month and it fitted the requirements on all levels, the area was great and the cottage was so lovely and cosy.  A carefree holiday in a charming cottage."
